Jeffrey M. Shea, M.D. is originally from the Dallas area. He attended the
University of Texas at Arlington where he received his
Bachelor of Science degree in biology. After graduating from The
University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School, he
completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary and
Critical Care at The University of California at Davis Medical Center in
Sacramento. Dr. Shea is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in the
subspecialties of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Shea is currently in private practice in Longview, Texas
where his practice is limited to Adult Pulmonary and
Critical Care Medicine. He is currently serving as Medical Director of
Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Intensive Care Unit and the Respiratory Department at
Longview Regional Medical Center and former Chief of Medicine.
Dr. Shea has been elected Fellow of the American College of
Chest Physicians, and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine.

Catherine Martinez,
M.D. is a Board Certified Pulmonary and
Critical Care Physician who moved to Longview in 2004.
Prior to moving to Longview, she was in private practice in
Miami, FL.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology
and Cell Science at the University of Florida, Gainsville, she was accepted into
Graduate School and subsequently Medical School.
After graduating with Honors from The University of Florida College of Medicine,
she entered the Internal Medicine program at Oregon Health Sciences University
in Portland where she also completed her Pulmonary Fellowship. Critical
Care training was completed at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in
Bethesda, Maryland where she was also involved in research looking into
inflammatory mediators in asthmatics.
Since completing her training at the NIH, she had
worked caring for patients at the NIH in the ICU and stepdown units. She most
recently had been in private practice in Miami, FL before deciding to move to
Longview with her husband.
Dr. Martinez
is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in the subspecialties of Pulmonary
and Critical Care Medicine. Her
practice is currently limited to the care of Adult Pulmonary and Critical Care
patients.
